So far everything is going well except I don't know how to post certain items in quickbooks that are paid out of the till. Each day we have expenses we pay cash for like, promo drink, bar supplies, laundry and music. I need these to show up in the correct expense category after posted and the total income, without expenses paid, to show up as income. Technically, all cash receipts should post from income to Cash on Hand, and from Cash on Hand to your various expense account. We will show you how you can do these postings so that the income and expenses get recorded properly. We prefer to use a remote desktop application, such as the one that comes with Windows XP or RealVNC. If you have a broadband connection, this would allow us to temporarily take control of your mouse cursor so you can see exactly how to do these postings.
