Pressfile Rich Internet Application is arguably first of its kind in the world. This project involved porting the Filemaker Pressfile application to Flash. Pressfile is an extensive Rich Internet Application. Usability, features, response time, coding standards, rapid development and project management - everything was important. It utilizes the cutting edge technologies from Macromedia. Pressfile is essentially a contact management software for the publicists. The Pressfile RIA provides all the benefits of the desktop application on a web platform. This is augmented by the advance level design and animation of Flash.
Magnet built the Pressfile RIA when the technology was just introduced. This RIA has a vast array of features - both in technology and user interaction areas. The application is designed to be scalable and to provide the fastest response time to users. It handles very large backend database and complex business logic on the server side as well.
